Office Closed Indefinitely due to Government Shutdown

Effective October 1st, our shared office with the USDA-NRCS at 10 M & M Place in Machias will be closed due to the federal government shutdown; however, as a state-level agency, we will continue to be open, working remotely due to a lack of office space.

As such, we unfortunately cannot access our phones or physical resources we keep in the office (maps, soil test kits, etc.), so those services will be restricted. However, general inquiries, as well as access to digital materials will remain available. If you'd like to get in touch, please contact us via email at wacomeswcd@gmail.com.

This is not the case for our USDA-NRCS and FSA affiliates - they will be completely closed down as they are federal employees, and thus not allowed to work during a shutdown.
